IPorts scans a user-defined range of IP Addresses for a specific port.
•Why should I use IPorts? (Some of the wicked features)
- Save a copy of all successfull ports
- IPorts surpasses any other service scanner because it automatically filters out all the UDP addresses and keeps only the TCP addresses!!
- Remember such things as the range of IP's scanned, the last port used, the last timeout used and the successfull port list (a list of all the IP addresses whose ports are up).
- Autoscan the last successfull ports upon opening to see if they are still active.
- Rescan a text file containing a list of IP addresses searching for the specified port.
- The ability to monitor an IP's ports. With this, you can determine the up and down times and get a percentage of how often the port is up.
- A very secure lockout feature. You can lockout IPorts with a password so the user won't even be able to quit it and interupt scanning.
- An integrated AutoHelp feature. If you need help with IPorts, simply move the mouse over the desired item you wish to know about.
- The ability to rescan the successfull ports when it's done scanning. Perfect for those long scans to make sure that they are still up.
• Notes on using IPorts: (IMPORTANT)
- When rescanning a text file, the IP address must be in this format "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port" where the ":port" is the port. Also, the text file must only contain one IP address per line.
- Be sure that you always keep IPorts inside its folder or else it won't be able to read the preferences.
• Where to get future versions of IPorts: (IMPORTANT)
